FAQ's

Where are your products made?

All of our products are made by hand in our artisanal lab in Hastings in the South of England.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

Yes. None of our formulas contain animal by-products.

Are your products cruelty free?

Yes. None of our products have been nor will ever be tested on animals. We also have strict procurement processes in place that ensures we only source raw ingredients form suppliers that share the same values as we do here at d'still

Are your products Organic?

All of our products are natural and contain organic ingredients wherever possible. We have always prioritised efficacy and potency above organic status, meaning we choose to include non-organic yet natural extracts and ingredients in our products to ensure our formulas are as potent and as effective as possible.

What is the shelf life of your products?

All of our formulas are natural, which means they have a shorter shelf life than most conventional / synthetic formulations on the market. We make our products by hand, in small batches to ensure freshness to our clients, therefore our products have a recommended shelf life of 18 months from date of fabrication.

How should I store d'still products?

We recommend storing our products in a cool, dry and dark place, especially our Calming Cleansing Balm to avoid melting the formula. If you live in a hot country or if Summer is turning out to be rather warm, our Calming Cleansing Balm may melt. Be sure to store this formula in the fridge to keep it at its very best during any hot period.

Always firmly replace the lid of our products after use to avoid moisture entering the product.

How do I choose a d'still product based on my skin type?

Our products can be enjoyed by all skin types. They are however, particularly beneficial for individuals dealing with acne prone skin due to their non-comedogenic nature and efficacy.

When using our Brightening Radiance Mask on sensitive skin we suggest adding a humectant of your choice (for example raw, organic honey) to the formula before application to make it a little more gentle on the skin.

Always patch test our products before application.

Do you use fragrance in your products?

Scent is an extremely important element in our skincare formulas. We choose to add essential oils to our products not only for their beautiful scent, but also for their therapeutic and topical benefits. We never use synthetic fragrances in any of our products and follow strict IFRA guidelines to ensure the safe use of plant-derived essential oils in all of our formulations. We source and use only high-quality, pure essential oils to make sure your skin receives all the benefits of the plants and flowers from which they are distilled.
